Choose a reference and show what needs to change

Custom tactical gear starts with a product reference your buyer and supplier can both identify. You can begin with a model from the Jingming catalog, a reference sample or your own design. Jingming's customization service covers discussions about changes to existing products and samples based on a supplied design. The available work needs to be confirmed for the product you select.

Separate the base specification from the changes. A request to add a label needs different information from a request to change the fabric, cut or bag layout. Mark the requested changes on a drawing or reference image and include dimensions where placement or fit matters. Tell the team which parts of the reference must stay the same.

Give each part of the brief a clear reference

For uniforms, describe the garment or set, fabric choice, color or camouflage reference and size breakdown. Request garment measurements if the letter sizes do not explain the intended fit. For boots, specify the model, material requirements and size assortment, with the sizing system made explicit. For bags, include the items to be carried and any required dimensions, pockets or attachments.

Artwork should come with the intended placement and dimensions. Add label wording and packaging requirements where they are part of the project. If several products need a coordinated appearance, identify them individually. A single color name across different materials should be discussed as a matching requirement, not treated as proof that the finished items will match.

Agree what the sample is meant to confirm

Before arranging a sample, state what you need to evaluate: the base model, a fabric selection, fit, branding or the complete proposed configuration. Ask which requested changes the sample will include and which remain subject to confirmation. Confirm sample availability, charges, shipping and timing in writing for that request.

Use your sample review to record specific changes. Point to the affected part and state the preferred result instead of approving a design with open comments. Keep the accepted reference and the final written specification together. If a later change affects either one, ask the team to confirm the updated version before the order proceeds.

Make the final quotation usable for both teams

The final brief should identify the models, agreed changes, quantities by size or color and packing requirements. Ask for the quotation to state the applicable order minimum, price, payment terms and schedule for that configuration. A requirement discussed for one product should not automatically be carried across to every item in a mixed order.
